Please use extreme caution if you are on the trails. We are still waiting on contractor’s bids for removal of debris on the trails. The path between Wildrye and Yellowstar as well as some parts along the main creek are impassable. Do not attempt to go through or around the debris, but rather turn back. We will update everyone on the progress of removing this debris. As you can imagine residential and disaster recovery takes priority.
Operators will be out to remove debris from residential property caused by debris from MUD property soon. The MUD approved this action yesterday.
Lastly, I have noticed an increase in debris along RCB and other streets that is not in front of homes. Please ask your crews to not place debris in HOA common areas or on MUD land. This will not be collected by the county clean up. If you have not come up with a plan to remediate your damage from trees and either paid for disposal or placed it on the curb for county pick up, please make every effort to do so as we need to consider the future damage and potential home value implication of non treated damage. I know many crews are booked and we are all busy, so we understand this can take time.
