Working with the District
From time to time, residents of Rocky Creek may need to contact the District. The following are examples of when a resident should contact the District:
- Work and Access – When a resident desires work to be performed on, or access to, District property, the resident needs permission from the District. This would include:
- Removal of debris, shrubs, or vegetation a resident believes is a hazard to their property
- Using District property to access the resident’s property for construction purposes where the only way to access the resident’s property is via the District’s property (for example, access through District property to construct a pool)
- Reporting a violation of District rules or unauthorized use of District property
- Use of Land – Residents are not allowed to build, construct, plant, or remove anything from District property. If a resident identifies a safety issue on District property, the resident needs to notify the District of the request, and the Board will consider said request.
- Swimming Pools Inspection Fees – A resident that plans to construct or install a pool within the District must notify the District’s operator and pay a $75 inspection fee before and after construction to ensure that the pool drains safely into a vegetated area in the yard.
- Other construction – residents must ensure that the drainage facilities are protected from run off and other incursions during and construction. This is typically part of the HOA approval process but is enforced by the MUD, its engineers and TCEQ.
- Trails – The District works with the Rocky Creek Master Community Association (HOA) to facilitate trail maintenance. The District may make voluntary funding contributions for this maintenance.
- Other recommendations or considerations for the District should be sent to board@tcmud16.org or
